    SP clarifications

I just wanted to double check a couple of rules, as I think about the prep of the car for the next year.

Diffs: I can do any kind of LSD correct? But I am limited to gearing found on any vehicle found on the same line as mine (in this case any e36 M3). Not necessarily thinking about changing my final drive, just want to clear up my options if I do find something.

Injectors: I don't see anything in the rules about injectors, I assume this means only stock are allowed? You can change pumps, lines, and fuel/air/timing maps, but not injectors correct?

    Think that's it for now.

The Corrado is resting for a bit.

When I die I want to go peacefully in my sleep like Grandpa, not screaming like the people in the car he was driving.

Correct. Any diff (factory or aftermarket) is allowed. Ring & pinion would need to be available in one of the cars from this listing:
    M3 (E36), M3 Lightweight

Fuel injection & intake manifolds are unrestricted, so you may use non-stock injectors. In fact, you can install a complete aftermarket ITB system if you wish. Fuel lines & pumps are also unrestricted.

Mike... seriously... I have the formula for you...

Carbon Fiber + Big Wing + $10k motor build = SM ftw.

Hahaha! If/when I go to SM it's gonna be with a twin-screw charger.

Actually I was thinking more along the lines of the Eurosport Stage 2.5 kit. Larger HFM, injectors and manifold. Nice bit of usable extra power.

seeing as this thread is titled as sp clarifications, ill post this here.

On a 97 miata the factory sway bar mounts are tack welded on in 3 places as well as being bolted. Now does that mean they are a welded on part of the subframe, and excluded from being changed based on the following rule. Or Does update backdate allow me to take them off as the older miatas were not tack welded and just bolted? I want to put the heavy duty sway bar mounts on.

Substitution, addition, or removal of any anti-roll bar(s) is permitted.
Bushing material, method of attachment, and locating points are
unrestricted. This does not authorize removal of a welded-on part of a
subframe to accommodate the installation, or the cutting of holes to
route the bar or links. Non-standard lateral members which connect
between the brackets for the bar, including allowed strut bars per
    15.2.C, are permitted.
