How will this rule be handled if a car exceeds the limit?

Appendix I of the SCCA Rulebook spells out a process. However, we'll likely tweak the process a bit in the MAC Supplemental Rules. The basic summary is that drivers will be notified if they get a reading over the limit and will have two chances to fix the problem.

My current inclination would be to issue warnings only at M1/2, giving everyone a chance to learn the new process and find out how loud their cars are. Then, we start enforcing in earnest at subsequent events.
