I've been using a Tachyon XC with a generic GPS unit suction cup mount on the roofline. Seems to work pretty decent. I do wish the FOV was wider by about 20*.

Interesting. Looks to have nicer color saturation than the gopro, still pretty choppy and pixalted though.

I picked up my GoPro Hero Wide Motorsports kit for $155.00 with free shipping. You can pretty much put this camera anywhere you want.

Here's some of my GoPro footage from the Afton event.

Or you can bite the bullet and pick up an HD camera.

    Here's my setup this year...

    Kodak Zi6 with a 8GB SD card
Good for 720p recording at 60FPS
    http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQueri...requestid=1832

Found that for about $130... the video we've shot around the office is gorgeous.

as for the mount, murph and i had a bit of a deal... but that fell through when he began to think about changing his seats. So i just ordered this:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=140321905374
looks identical to the panavice model... and at $9 bux... screw it, i'll give it a try.
even if it is a hong kong knock off, i'll stick to using it inside the car until i determine it's strength.
