    I did this one around a month ago, just never got to posting it up, so here we go!

    My buddy who own's a shop called me up and asked me if I was still detailing cars, since I am, he got me this one to work on!

  2. Some basic info about porting, myths discussed (heads, manifolds)

    We are totally shifting gears onto porting. My health has been bad and the weather has been chilly so detailing has stopped. Not sure if i'll do another car before winter, i'm feeling kind of lazy

  3. Not much to say

    I'm just posting this since I feel it's been a while since i've posted. No major things have happened detail wise, I have however purchased a 1990 BMW 325i. It does need some work but it runs and drives well and it was cheap so that's hard to beat. Originally this is what it looks like

    I took some time off after CenDivs as I was getting pretty burned out with all the repairs, and just the amount of work into the car this year. It allowed me to get my mind back in the driving game a little more, and worry less about the car.

  5. Whew, i'm so tired

    Man this last car took a long time. It was a 1991 Jetta. It was my first experience working on single stage paint.
    What that means is, normally, people are used to the idea you have primer, then the color, then a clearcoat on a car. When you buff/polish the car, you are getting rid of the imperfections (scratches) in the clearcoat. Well a single stage paintjob is when the clear and the color are mixed together and then sprayed.
