Advanced driver instruction at September 7th TnT
I'm pleased to announce we will again be offering advanced one-on-one driver instruction at the July 13th Test 'n Tune event. This instruction is available ONLY to drivers registered for the Test 'n Tune, and will consist of a focused 1 hour session with a dedicated instructor. The cost will be $75 per session, with a total of 8 sessions available. The instructors are MAC members Pat Washburn and Neal Tovsen. Pat and Neal are very accomplished drivers at both regional and National levels, and have the knowledge & skills to help any driver improve their performance.

Sessions will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve a spot, post you time & instructor preference in this thread. Please include your full name.

Payment will be collected at day-of-event registration.

Yes, lets not bury him, let him come and instruct and then we'll play the game of who's sloppy run gets the blame for killing Pats trip to the nationals? :)

Just curious, the $75 fee, does that go to the Paul Fund? Who would I make a check out to, or would I be better off bringing cash? Could I PayPal it somewhere?

Pat's racing this weekend? Does that mean he's feeling better?

Before mowog 6 he was unloading some tires out of his truck and hurt the area of his ribs in the process. That's the abridged version of the story anyway. He was very uncomfortable throughout the day to say the least.

Put a big ol' crack in it according to the X Ray. S'all right...I'll just wrap it up, "hike it up" and drive! :)

OK, I've made a decision with the help and advice of our resident medical staff Charles and Jocilyn. I'm going into hiding, and will be laying in a dark room with inscence burning, soothing music playing, personal rib massager rubbing healing ointments on me, and a group of Tibetan Monks chanting whatever it is they chant to make me heal.

Driving in KC was pretty painful, and Charles advises that it will delay healing by continuing to stress it. (Something I didn't know.) Anyway, the upshot is that I will regretfully have to cancel my student schedule:

11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Jay Larson
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM Charles Kim
2:00 PM - 3:00 PM Daniil Manaenkov
3:00 PM - 4:00 PM Paul Middleton

Sorry guys, we'll find a way to make it up. Need to keep my eye on the bigger picture. Have fun everyone, and I'll see many of you at Nationals on Saturday!

I was planning to show up and help out on Sunday. If any of the students want some one on one instruction from me, shoot a PM, I'll have a maxq and will try to help fill the gap.

Like I didn't tell him that ten years ago. Some things don't require med school to figure out.
