Perhaps I missed it on another post but what is the address of the "Barn" where the annual party is being held next Friday? An address would be nice for Mapquest. Better yet a link from the home page...

To all,
the way to get to the 'BARN' is on Anderson Lakes road.

Ron Hiraybayashis address is; 9325 Garrison Way.

That's his address. But the 'BARN' justs sits out in the open, in the middle of the apartment complex.

This is what I think I know. I am open to education.

The barn is at
11221 Anderson Lakes Pkwy, Eden Prairie, MN 55344-4086
The phone number there is 952-941-8400

Take 494 to 169. Go south on 169. Turn right (west) at the traffic light onto Anderson Lakes Parkway.

I believe the barn has a classic gambrel "barn" roof. It can be seen from Anderson Lakes Parkway.
I think there are some fenced tennis courts nearby.
As I recall, the barn is on the south side of Anderson Lakes Parkway.

If you get to Flying Cloud Drive, you have missed the barn. Go back about halfway back towards 169.

Any resident of The Preserve can direct you to "The Barn". The Preserve Association has its offices in the first floor of the barn. The party room is upstairs under the gambrel roof. There is a refrigerator, stove and kitchen sink available there.

The ambiance is sort of "ski-lodge", with a fireplace and couches. This place has a lot more charm than the school cafeteria we have used for several years.

I talked to Ron a while ago, and recall him saying there likely was a TV and VCR, so bring any fun auto-x tapes. I've got a couple that will be coming along.

THE PARTY IS THIS FRIDAY NIGHT!
HERE'S WHAT KEN JOHNSON SAID;
Look this over folk's. Ken has made a very nice offer. I think we should take him up on it.
Matt, now that you are the promotional person. [aren't you?] But it's MAC's party.
So I will pick up the additional items at Sam's Club.

Subject: Pizza for year end party

Hi Dwight,

Ken Johnson here (I bought 6 tires from you this year & have 4 more on hold
until next year).
I work part time delivering pizza for Papa Johns in Burnsville & could
possibly save the club alot of money by using my employee discount. You said
you were ordering pizza for 80 people which works out to be like 26 large
pizzas. That should be around $250. My discount is 50% off & could help make
them & deliver them at exactly the right time. I'm sure the manager would
have no problem with this if you are interested.

Not only do I not know what the 8th deadly sin is, but I don't know what a 'parrot head' is.

Wow! Its been awhile since Ive been on here. I heard about the end of the year Met council year end party on another site. It would be nice to see some familar faces from back in the day when I used to run a stock engined CRX in CSPT class. I was a MAC member before and I'm an AARRF member now too. In the past couple of years Ive become a daddy and a sole-proprietor and that has taken up some time for me on the track. I still compete in the high speed events at St. Cloud and this year I would like to go to Brainard, Mid-America, or Gingerman.

I credit my early days of autoX with MAC for starting the addiction of driving road course, rather than just drag racing at RockFalls. I still do both, but I would pick road course over drag anyday. But drag racing has gained me other types of customers and friends that are into that sport. It has helped my company grow. I specialize in motor swaps for Honda/Acuras.

If the AutoX schedule fits mine that is filled with work, time for my son, AARRF events, and RockFalls Drags, you guys may see more of me at the autoX track.

Good to see some familar enthusists here.

I agree with others that mentioned that this end of the year party shouldnt evolve into a debate about rules or regulations, but rather be filled with stories, laughs, video, etc.

Save that other technical stuff for the other meetings.

Hopefully I will see you all there.:)

Who are you planning to go to Gingerman with?

Hey Tony!! Yea, I remember you. You won SPt a couple of times in your CRX and then switched to a red Prelude. I remember you saying that it never handled quite like the REX. I think I rode with you once at an AARRF event too. I ran an old rusty silver CRX back then in DS and GS.

I hear you are good at dropping in motors. You have a reputation even way down here in Austin!

Yes Adam, I also remember you. You did pretty well yourself in D class with that stock CRX. That CRX that I competed with was actually a WINTER car I picked up so I could store the Prelude during the winter months. Well, it turned out to be quite a car in CSPt class for me. I love those decade old cars!!

Well, after realizing I made the mistake of selling that 1st CRX ( that's why I later competed with the Prelude towards the end of the season ) I picked up another CRX. Then another one. And another.

Cant get enough of those cars. Ive done quite a few JDM (Japan Domestic Market) engine transplants in those cars. Glad to hear word is getting down around Austin where you live:)

Well, if I were to build a CRX strictly for AutoX I would just leave it stock. You did good in D class with yours. Mine was lowered so that put me in CSPt class. Even then, I took home some trophies.

I later installed a DOHC 1.6L Vtec engine from Japan and that put me in SM class. Boy was competition stiff in that class. I still had fun though, but I knew it wasnt the best approach to SCCA rules for my mods. I also drag race at RockFalls to promote my business so I needed to have a "swapped" CRX to drive and display. I started to compete at AARRF in St. Cloud at the High Speed Road Course/ Lapping events. The cars are grouped more according to laptime and driver's skill rather than what mods were done on it. This was more suited for my car. With drag racing events in Wisconsin and St.Cloud and Dakota events to attend, I missed out on some events for the MOWOG point series.

This year being that AARRF has less events, I will have more time to get back on the parking lot.

Good to hear from you and see some familar faces at the Annual party. I met some new faces also from when I was gone.

Im anxiously waiting for the upcoming season.
