SOLD

OK, I can hear the dial tone.
How about any offer, reasonable or not, to keep them out of the land fill....

I just got 2 snows with the car I bought.

MAGNA GRIP HT P175/70/13 82S M&S Designed for #13 Stud. They appear to have only light use....

They are mounted on (I think) Honda steel rims.

How about $80 for the pair and if you're sort of close, I'll deliver.

John

What ever you do, don't throw them in the garbage. There is a company up Hwy. 65 that recycles them. They are ground up and used in all kinds of good ways.
When you buy tires from me I will charge you $2.50 per tire to bring them up there. If you want to do it yourself, they charge $.80-1.00. But it is almost to Isanti.

Yes, it is. East Bethel, I think. But it is worth the trip just to see the machine. Bring your ear protection. Some years ago I completely stuffed a small station wagon with tires and made the trek up there.

Thanks for the suggestions. What I really want is for them to be left all over the road microscopic pieces at a time...
Somebody Has to be able to use these........

I may have a use for them...

I've never used studded tires before. Can they be used on regular roads? Are they currently studded? Do they need to be?

I have a Tercel that I use for commuting that is in bad need of snows!

The state of Minnesota had an experiment quite a few years ago.
We could install metal studs in tires.
However, in their wisdom, they decided it was too hard on the road surfaces.
They were outlawed.
But they use them on the ice at the IIRA

Sometimes the term 'studs' is used for tires with large chunks of tread that really grip the snow/ice.

And if you want to find out how well 'WINTER TIRES' work, either come road test my wifes Lancer, or Llews RX7, or........

They are incredible!
