Does anyone know if we will be using Chippewa Valley Technical College's East (the big lot) or West lot (truck training course) on June 8th? Rumor has it that the Clairemont bridge might be parked in the East lot during that time. Can anyone confirm.

Due to construction on Clairmont, the June 8th event will need to be moved to the truck driving facility. It still hasn't been determined whether the course will use the truck driving range or the parking lot we used for paddock last year.

I was on the CVSCC website and I can't seem to figure out how their registration works? Do they pre-register like MAC or is it all onsite? Maybe I'm completely blind and there is a clear as day link to that info.
Last year they did it via MAE, but they put it on there less than 30 days before the event. So just wait. I will, until its clear whether its will be in the lot or in the truck driving range.

I'll be going regardless of what the surface is. I want to make sure I get enough events in this year for the MetCouncil Series. Last year I only made half of them.
I guess I'll keep checking for it on MAE.

We're just a much smaller club, so more duties fall on less of us...thus it takes a little longer. Thanks for your patience, we get just a little better and faster every year.

3 votes for the parking lot we used for paddock. The driving range was a little dicey for autocross (although the banked corners were fun).

I agree on both counts. The off-camber left was the part I never got correct all day. And the curb was scary (word to wise: if you go down the curb, DON'T TRY TO GO BACK UP!). I'd like to paddock on the track and autocross in the car park.
The BBQ was wonderful. Dave, is Eastview open for a party? Ooh, that was a little forward.

Indeed, the BBQ is again on. As usual, there may be a special twist surrounding this event. Stay tuned.

Good idea. The track was interesting but the parking lot would be a better place. I already jumped the curb out there once, I don't need to repeat that again.

I think I'm addicted.
I see nothing wrong with that.
This event is the day after my cousin's wedding... I will need to muster up some self control on Saturday night.
