You're Invited

2008 marks the 40th anniversary of Brainerd International Raceway and the dawning of a new era. Throughout BIR’s history, virtually every form of motorsports has competed at our facility from Indy Cars in 1969 to present day Top Fuel vehicles with the NHRA.

On September 12-14, we invite you to attend a historic celebration with the opening of BIR’s new 2.5 mile - 13 turn road circuit for a weekend of fun and festivities. Road Racing Clubs, Classic Car Clubs, Performance Vehicle Shops, Motorcycle Racing Clubs, Go Kart Racing Competitors, Vehicle Manufactures, Nostalgia Drag Racing exhibitions and more are all invited to join us on this weekend.

With the new 2.5 mile road course circuit, every club group will be given the opportunity for lapping sessions along with tours of the new track for everyone. The entire BIR facility will open during this weekend with festivities including the Johnny Holmes band on stage Saturday night.

In an effort to keep costs down for this weekend, participation for road course lapping will be a mere $20 per vehicle per session with a $10 charge per day for spectators. Camping will also be available this weekend including BIR’s full service RV sites and plenty of open camping for everyone!

Whether you’re an active participant at BIR, new to motorsports or just want to take in the weekend, we invite you to come join us. This promises to be a weekend to remember and the start of a new chapter with Minnesota’s Premier Motorsports facility.

Planning for this event is ongoing. Feel free to call the track office at 1-866-444-4455 with your questions or periodically check the BIR website www.brainerdraceway.com for more details.

Hope to see you there.
