That's a steal for an Event! I will be at BIR the next following week, so I dont think I can afford the gas for both, but this definately deserves a BUMP!

Thanks for the positive feedback.

That's a steal for an Event! I will be at BIR the next following week, so I dont think I can afford the gas for both, but this definately deserves a BUMP!You won't be disappointed if you come! It might cost a bit to get there, but the track is a lot of fun and the people you'll meet are great. We've actually got a couple participants that are running at MAM with us on Saturday and Sunday, and then driving straight through to BIR to run there on Monday 5/12. If they can do it, you can do it.:D

If you haven't been to MAM before, you need to go. The track is a lot more technical than BIR and there's basically nothing to hit (if, God forbid, you went off track.);) It's a lot of fun.

I have too many activies going on the next few weekends, running with the kids at their marathon and working with BMW/Audi at BIR on the next weekend. I have commitments with an arranged driver who has just aquired the new Data Aquistion a program BMW is starting for this season. I haven't forgotten MAM, thats where my Vtec intake camshaft went kaboom at about 8k rev's while a Viper was hot on my tail thru turn 12. MAM is on my TO DO List for 2008 for sure if not with you guys than with Findtheline or another club.

Sounds like some DIEHARD track drivers, I'm sure everyone will have lots of fun. Please keep me posted on future events and goodluck with the event.

I'm surprised there aren't more people here that are interested in participating in a very affordable open track event with other local driving enthusiasts.:?

Less than a week to go! Come out and join us...you won't be disappointed.:D

As usual, if you have any questions, let me know.

A lot of us consider the major attraction of autocrossing is that we don't have to drive several hundred miles to do it.

Others here on this board are hooked on big-time national autocross events and save their long drives for those events.

Although there are some track-day folks among us, this is primarily an autocrossing board. You are welcome to hang around and talk track-day, of course, we are just not generally your target market.
