I noticed the registration costs have increased $5 per event this year. I'm just curious if the costs of the sites have gone up, or if operating costs have risen unexpectedly last year and is being taken in account this year. Or maybe I just forgot what I paid last year... that's quite a possibility.

I probably missed a whole thread on this topic anyways.

Thanks.

The cost for Valleyfair went up by $5. They have raised their site rental fee, so we had to raise our fee as well. The rate for events at DCTC and Midway are the same as last year and as far back as I've been around.

I guess you could say that the cost for Canterbury has gone up, since I'm sure the club charged much less when they last ran at that site. However, we are having to pay a lot for that site now. We're hoping that the club members will understand and enjoy the opportunity to drive at a site that is even better than Valleyfair.

I guess $5 an event is worth running Cantebury... I'm very excited to finally run there.

I guess I should have been a little clearer - the cost for Canterbury will be $40 pre-registered (no member discounts), not $5.

No problem with the increase but I thought Canterbury is the only event without a member discount. I just registered for VF and paid full $35 fare.

Nobody gets discounts at VF, not even the board.
