Are you looking for original wheels? As in same size, or in steel?

Tire Rack smallest size is 15" X 6 1/2"

I believe he would be looking for stock 15" size. But lighter.

A friend of mine who built a EP '99 SCCA road racer Miata, has all the interior, glass, A/C, etc. etc.
You know, all the unecessary stuff? But the wheels are long gone.
Wants to find a new home for it.
Taker's?

I was kidding about the quick, Dwight. Have you looked out your window lately? But I am serious about getting rims and tires in the spring. To be honest I probably won't order the SSR's as they are pricey and will instead look for a used set of stock Miata rims. I will probably order a set or two of tires from you next year though. A price on the SSR's would be nice though...

Tell me which Hoosier's you want.
The SSR's are pricey at $239 my cost each. I would go with stock rims myself. They are fairly light, look nice and are lower to the ground than 15's.

And yes, I have been outside, and wondered if you were going south.
Nowdon't take that wrong, I meant like going to Tennesee.

Dwight,

How much for a set of SSR's 17x7's and 17x8's for
my 1993 MR2. I would be looking to get Kuhmo MX's
for rubber. 215/40R17 in front and 245/40R17 in back.

The panasports are way too heavy for a miata.

The hot wheel right now is the Enkei RP-F1. Its super-light and fairly inexpensive (considering the weight).

The 15x7 is 9.8lbs and goes for around $199. That's only 3oz heavier then the SSR's and $100 cheaper.

Hi Miata Guy,

I have a set of Panasport 15 x 7 rims with BFGoodrich R-1 autocross tires mounted and ballanced for sale. The set was used 5times total. Otherwise in storage in my garage.

My asking price is for the rims only; the tires, instalation and balanceing are essentially free. Please understand; there are many autocross events left on these tires. With only 5 events, I believe there are 2-3 dosen events on these tires left. They were never shaved.

Price: $900 even.

Let me know what you think...........

I need 15X6s to stay in stock class. I could use them as my street rims, but I would like to stay stock there too as I sometimes like to run stock street tire class.

I am also getting a set of Enkei RFP-1s for my Evo next year. about 15.5 lbs for a 17x8.

What offset are the stock miata wheels? I'm assuming you'll want rims that are within 6mm of the original offset, preferable toward the lower end of the scale for a wider track.
