A few of us are heading to Des Moines this weekend for DMVR's opening solo event. http://dmvrscca.org/solo0308.htm There are hotels nearby for those not wanting to drive down in the early AM.

Weather says 20 - 30% chance of precip. As long as it's not snow, I'll be happy.

Ivan, what are your plans for driving down, lodging, etc.? I have a day or two yet to decide.

Actually our event is on April 6th, the 13th is a joint IA/DMVR event being hosted by DMVR at Adventureland Park.

I am planning on being there with my co-driver, and hopefully all the parts installed on my car. :)

No way I'll get my tires changed before Sunday... I'll just have to wait until the first event up here.

I thought about it... I hit DMVR twice in 2006, but skipped it last year. The ITR is still in the garage, no battery and wants a tune up. Oh well...

That wasn't nice... but it sure was funny.

It took a while for Chris' avatar to soak in: "Hey that looks like, wait, OK...". The bronze wheels look nice on the white car. This has been one heck of a week with the new season starting the same week I got a nasty cold. Thanks to Chris, Alex, Amy, and earlier, Larry S (and Lee and Bob) for stopping by yesterday.
