does anyone have experience and/or want to sell a set of car skates?
I'm thinking of trying to cram another vehicle (like a Miata!) into my 1.5 car garage.
For those that don't know, car skates are basically dollies for pushing a car around- place a dolly under each tire.
Unless people recommend driving a Miata in the snow- which would be killer fun.
I've seen the car skates and they seem like a good idea, but I did manage to cram the Dutton into the end of my 2 car garage, with a stairwell that essentially makes one end 1 1/2 cars wide, by some judicious backing and filling, culminating with the use of a trolley jack to lift one end and shove the car in sideways. This presumes that you won't need the car until spring...
yes i recommend driving the miata in snow... fun fun fun :dancin:

Hey Chuck try Mills Fleet Farm, They had them on sale for 30 bucks a pair. Northern Tool and Equipment also handles them but I don't know for how much or Harbor freight has them and they have a outlet on the north end of Minneapolis. Check their web sites. They work great.

Try Northern, I bought 4 from there 4 years ago, paid just a little over $100. I believe Harbor Freight might have them also.

Chuck,
I'm sure you can find better daily drivers then a Miata, but at least you
are now aware that it is time to pamper your classic cone crushing Datsun.

Adam,
I know how you feel. I ran a half second faster in my brothers Datsun
then my MR2. Then again I beat my brother in Boos's Vette with his
Datsun.
