Thanks!

Look at the top menu bar of your screen...click on Calender...you're there.

Helpul HINT:

Click over to the yearly view. You will see all the months together of course. Hoover you mouse icon over the dates, and a little note pops up to tell what the event is. *Very* helpful for master planning. Wretchen...you are the best! (Crap, gotta come up with a new nickname for you.....)

Only found one error, I think it's an error… The November MAC meeting in on the calendar for the 26th, that TG eve… I think they move it up a week because of that, the 19th…

Great job... Lots and lots of events...

Looks like Shane set up that recurring event a couple of years ago. Not immediately obvious how to change just one of a series without changing all of them. I'll look at it later. Thanks.

I see a couple missing items: Evo Schools, SCCA Nationals Warm-up events. Also, don't forget to add the Tri-State events at Miller Park, as they are generally run by Milwaukee/Chicago Regions and in my experience tend to be well run. The Tri-State events are sometimes paired with other Miller Park events, to create a weekend of autocross.

Yep. Did this with the idea of "no information is better than potentially wrong information". Got the local evo schools added. Had been left off due to the tentative tag. I'll look for surrounding states' evo schools later too. Nationals warm up info?... Can't seem to find it on SCCA.com.
I'll get Tri-state on there when they list their 2008 events. Shoot me a PM if you have this info already.

EDIT: shouldn't have said "wrong" info. Just looking for definite info for peeps to plan with. :)

Has anyone heard what site will be used for the CVSCC events this year? Were they able to secure "The Bridge" lot for all events?

Any word on the Afton Hillclimb and Amery Airport events?

They will all be on Saturday with the next day being the "rain day"

June 14 2008 Afton Hillclimb

June 21 2008 Amery Paul Weidner Memorial Speed Run

August 23 Amery Speed Run II

Due to the club's national insurance, they need to maintain the character of these as "vintage car" events, so preference will be given to cars 1980 and earlier. Severe limits will be set on the number of "modern" cars allowed. If your car is a replica of a pre-80s car, it might look better on their entry list if you enter it under the name of the original car with a "replica" tag.

Please attempt to bring your old car or your buddy's old car rather than a new car to these events.

Also, remember that although these events feature higher speeds than MAC autocrosses, the event itself moves very slowly by comparison. It's not wrong, it's just different. They are not going to change the ambiance of the event to try to get you more runs.

I put 'em on there when Steve mentioned it. Based on previous years, I suppose these could be tentative until enough people sign up for them.

It's fun, show up on whatever, same safety stuff as autocross and have fun sliding around! Corcoran is a horse grounds that they smooth out some for rally-cross. It's a blast.

We are looking into a couple different options to make the calendar a little less cluttered than last year but still offer the same amount of information. Might take a couple weeks, but as soon as we get it figured out, I'll put up all the non-MAC/Met Council, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Dakotas, Divisional, National Tour, Pro Solo, and National events just as we did last year.

Lets add Nebraska Region events as well. I have a feeling members will be interested in attending a few events in Lincoln this year. ;)

Where in SD are there autocrosses? A couple of friends of mine moved to Watertown a couple months ago and it would be fun to run out there when I go visit.

Gretchen--your link for COM is going to the Suburban Corvettes of Minnesota website (they're the group that has done the Brainerd NCCC weekend in the past, and has two BIR practice days on their schedule for this year, but no local autocross events). As long as you have Corvettes of Minnesota events as listed on the Met Council calendar, we're fine (one in May with PCA, and one in August; both are Met Council Series events, and both are at DCTC). COM is working on restoring our web site, but for now best internet contact is through "www.mwregion.com", and then selecting Corvettes of Minnesota. Thanks.

I was putting together a calendar of my own, and by the time I added the Milwaukee events and Nebraska events, things started getting a little crowded. Plus, I think when I told my wife I was driving to an autocross in ARKANSAS, she booked me an appointment with a psychiatrist.

As long as the appointment doesn't fall on a weekend, it sounds like only a minor inconvenience.

I could have signed up to autocross the Seven in Alabama in May, but my schedule was a little tight, so I am signing up to autocross the Triumph in California in October.

I didn't feel like waiting any longer. Posted on the calendar you will find a conglomeration of events. You'll have to sift through the mess for a little while until we can figure out a better way to do it. Hope that's okay, happy planning!

Well bless 'em for having the real estate to host Nationals and all, but this is really just too much...

http://www.nrscca.com/events.php?id=123

You can't have 4 separate Evo schools, 2 test-n-tunes, and a DIVISIONAL all in the same weekend! That's just not right!
