First time

I am planning on running this Sun for my first time. I'm pretty excited. I am wondering, what happens if it starts to rain?

newbie- excellent!
Bring along a tarp to cover up all the junk you'll take out of the car (anything and everything that isn't bolted in).
If it rains, the smoother driver's will be rewarded with the quicker times. You wont get to feel the full g's your car is capable of, so you'll need to return for a dry event next season.

Yea my first time I forgot that my battery hold-down was just a bungie cord.

Lucky for me I was able to strap it in good and they let me drive

Thanks for the advice. I stopped by an event last year and have wanted to try it a lot. I got a good deal on '84 Nissan 300zx turbo in August and have been getting the car into shape. The car is still in really good shape, the engine was rebuilt about 50k ago. I look forward to seeing all of you there.
