We're a little over a week away from the next MOWOG, and I need to nail down commitments from members to assist in running the event. Please step forward and be counted!
I've added the names of those who have volunteered so far, and/or are normally responsible for particular tasks. I need confirmation from those with ? by their names, and could use another volunteer to help with course setup at 7 AM.
1) Towing the trailer to/from the event - Jerry Schroeder
2) Designated Curmudgeon - Dwight McCullough
3) Timing & scoring setup - Steve Meschke, Jon Kotek, Josh Berman?
4) Run group & work assignment setup - Steve Garnjobst, Chris Bienert
5) Course setup - Adam Ansorge, Steve Garnjobst, +1
6) Registration - Dave Kral, Paul Weidner, Nikki Feuk, Alex Lowe
7) Tech Inspections - Keith Beuner, Steve Hendrickson, Tim Walterson?
8) Safety - Phil Ethier
8) teardown/cleanup - Anyone who does fun runs
Thanks!

I'll try to get up there early enough to help with course setup.
Adam
I'll be there at 7:00 AM, high blood pressure and all. :flame
Jerry said he'll tow the trailer.
I'm goin' ta' run my 'B'
Just don't make it too tight of a course.

Cool. I'm hoping to start setup around 7 AM, so we have plenty of time to "test" ;) the course and make last second adjustments.

Jerry, try to get to Midway by 7AM, so we have plenty of setup time.
Dwight, the course isn't super tight, but you'll probably be swearing at me in a couple corners! :D

I can help with registration or setup.

P.S. the NSX is in for cosmetic surgery. If I don't have it by the 28th I may be grovelling for a co-drive.

Dave,
You be in charge of getting the entry checkpoint set up and running for waivers, numbers & registration forms. You'll want to get to Midway by 7:30AM or so, to get set up by 8 AM.
Thanks!
-Steve
p.s. I'm sure we can find you and interesting car to drive, if the NSX isn't back from the car doctor...

You're welcome to drive the MINI

Steve - I'll be there at 7:30 or a little earlier to set up the checkpoint.
Paul - I'll probably take you up on your offer. I talked with the guy doing the work on the NSX today and he said he didn't think it was likely that it would be done by the 28th.

NOOOOOOO.... Dave, don't do it!!!!! Not the cute car... If I wasn't going to be out of town for work that weekend you'd be welcome to the 914. The sweetness of midengineness, comfort, speed, handling. We mittle motor guys need to stick togather. Maybe Nate would give you a shot with the silveracer... I guess... Some ride is better than no ride. And Paul, as much fun as we have getting after each other, the Mini IS a nice ride, even if it is "cute"

I'll be there at 7AM with or without the Type R. I'll help out with whatever you need help with, tech, registration, set-up... I bet I could even get Matt's pick-em-up truck to tow the trailer if you still need someone.
I miss you guys! :)

Thanks - I'll see you then! I hope the ITR comes back to life soon - wounded cars are NO fun. :(

7:30AM or shortly thereafter would be good. We should have enough cones out of the trailer by then.

I could be there by 8:00 to assist with tech-in. Never done it before, but I'm pretty sure I can figure out what to look for.
Let me know if you need me, and if someone has a tech-in list/chart/whatever they can e-mail me, that'd be cool too.
later,
Steve.

Steve, if you show up at 8 AM, we can get you hooked up to assist the lead tech. inspector (hopefully Lee Frisvold). If you've never done tech. before, you'll definitely want to assist the first couple times.
FYI - the tech. checklist is actually on the Registration Sheet.

Steve --
Sounds good. I'll try to be there earlier, but I may be dragging along my dad (chassis tuner) and brother (pit lackey).
I'll download the registration sheet and commit it to what's left of my memory.
See ya Sunday,
Steve.

MAC members,
As a few of you already know I can't attend this weekend. I hope everything goes well and you all have a good time!
I'll look forward to reading the event feedback on Monday.
Have fun and good luck Steve.
Darryl
