Met Council Reserve Numbers at 9/30 EC Event

At last night's MAC meeting there was concern about reserve numbers at the 9/30 EC event and having people sign up with reserve numbers they don't own. I have notified the few people who signed up with a taken number and let them know they may be asked to change their number before the event begins and encouraged them to select an unused number now.

We will make additional changes for future events so we don't have to deal with this again. This may mean the registrar will assign numbers based on the list (most likely), only honor reserve numbers for advanced registrations, or some other option. But that has yet to be determined.

In the future, you could ask Steve Couture at MAE to set up your registration pages the way he has for MAC. This will require your registrar to approve each number request before the number will show up on the entry list. This is easy to do. Once you have approved the number, you won't have to look at that entry again.
