Great pics! Especially the action shots. The sun made it a real challenge for me taking photos. good job
FYI: Bill did show up with his 427, but the course had to be shortened due to the new asphalt splitting in one spot. You had to stay off the new asphalt. They made it into a small AutoX course in the inner portion.

Bill, Bill, Bill
What am I going to do with you, You're starting to demean yourself by begging and offering bribes...
I know your answer as to what I should do(Let you drive it).
OK, you win, but I want a pix of the Marcos and Mini together, the MINI website has a place for me to upload pix --- maybe they'll even post it --- who knows. So I'm thinking not real high res as there are file size limits.
Will you be at MOWOG 4 to take me up on the offer???
If not I'm sure someone else will have a camera and offer to take your place :p :p :p
See you at MOWOG4
Paul
PS. I had to tell you "yes" now so you can suffer waiting for 15 days...

Bill,
On second thought I might just take my own pix, you're scaring me.
BTW The breakin procedure in the manual sez:
for the 1st 1200 miles
vary speeds, never over 4500 rpm, never over 95 mph.
and after 1200 miles gradually increase speed/rmp
ABSOLUTELY AVOID using the full throttle or kickdown position for the accelerator.
I may not be bringing this until MOWOG5 depending on how many miles I've got on it...
It also sez:
"You should also comply with these break-in procedures if the engine needs to be replaced at a later point."
That sure fills ME with confidence...

I can't say Ive ever heard of such a strigent
'break in" period on a car. Whats the deal?

Some things never change. Here's a car designed by a top-flight German company, built to quality levels that England didn't realize exisited until Ford bought Jaguar, and they have an absurd break in schedule.
I suppose they had to do something to keep the "English" qualities in the car. The only way was to insist on a proper "English Break-in Period". Does the owners manual suggest changing the break-in oil at 1000 miles and refilling it only with Genuine Castrol?
Cute car Paul! Once you get it broken in, it should terrorize whatever class it's assigned to.

"Cute car"? That's the kiss of death. My wife called my car cute once. Then I sold it...

I've got some pics at the MAAS 2 event. and some pics of the Corvette AutoX event a few weekends ago. The volksport pics are pretty large, but I don't have time to fix that. the vette autox stuff should be decent size.
