Porsche got robbed. Make that mugged, then robbed. This is endurance racing, not Nascar. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

That’s what I thought Dave but I think the Porsche driver went way to deep into the final corner… Like they say, slow in, fast out… The Ferrari did play a bit, OK, more then a bit rough on the last corner/straight… VERY cool finish…
Now, back to the F1 race… 4 lap remaining…
Go Kimi...
Congrats to Raikonnen. First Ferrari start, Ferrari win. Just like the old days. (Which I know little about)

Legendary Porsche brakes, the Porsche had lead and was pulling away when it was, uh, rubbed in the quarter, breaking traction. To deep? Hard to armchair quarterback that one, he didn't spin it under braking, came out of the corner first, and got back on the gas and was driving away when the paint was traded. I think in their own way, each driver "did what he had to do", given the tools, (cars) in use, its just that those of us in the P car camp may dis-agree with the methods of the F car. Nice comment by the Porsche driver during the post race interview- "if thats what he needed to do to win..." personally, after 12 hrs of work, I'd be thinking hard of beating the other driver senseless with my helmet. Nice job to make your point and keep your job, sponsors, and your cool.
The only better finish would be, if the F car had to bump the P car, to bump it to the point it spun, and then the F car T-boning the spinning P car, pushing it over the line first. And no one getting hurt with all this metal bending.
Speaking of red paint, way to go Kimi.

Ahhh yes! Raikonnen blew doors. I think Massa also could have been in the fight for the win, but he had the gear box garbage going on. Massa's got game, but I think Kimi will be the guy. Alonso/Hamilton impressed me as well... Should be a great year.
Just like the Old days: So other than 2005 (silly season), nothings really changed. ;)
