May 3-4 Solo2 Events

Desperate for more seat time, I've been researching the event options for this weekend. Unfortunately, there's nothing real close, but there are a couple alternatives.

Great River SCCA Region has an event on May 4th at Whiteside County Airport in RockFalls, IL. (~ 6 hour drive)

Midwest Division SCCA has a two-day event May 3-4 in Salina Kansas (~9! hour drive)

Sorry, nothing else within 10 hours drive.:( :(

Thanks for the post. It might be a good idea to call the host of the event in Rock Falls. If it is a good site and you are going to get at least 6 runs it might be a fun trip.

I received the following message from Regional Executive Corky Swanson:
"Yes our Solo II Event at Whiteside airport is definitely on. We run in the rain unless it is a monsoon. Registration is 9:00-10:30am. Tech opens at 9:00 and runs until 10:45am. Entry fee is $15 for SCCA members and $20 for non-SCCA members.
