I picked up a little daily beater that I was thinking of running on occasion. The car normally falls into "G", but it has a few suspension mods, intake, and some other crap, all which put it into Street Prepared. Is there such a class as GSP, or does it become an FSP car? I guess I've never seen GSP, and SCCA bumping order (for SP) starts at FSP.

What kind of car is it?
I think that matters more than what class it's in when stock. i'm not well versed in SP rules.

Street Prepared has it's own car classifications, which are completely separate from Stock. Your car would be in DSP, which means you have to go head-to head with Steve's 325, Michael's ITR & Christian's Impreza. That should grow hair on your chest.... :p

The listing is as follows: 3 Series (16V NOC)
This means you could update/backdate parts with other 318i models, which may be of some value. Note: You can't use parts from the E30 M3, as it's listed separately.

Hey Dan, when you bring the 318 to its first event, I'd be happy to run the M3 for you. You know, so it doesn't feel left behind and lonely. :D

Don't bother trying, what he actually wants is Steve M's CSP car :D

What does the S stand over?

I believe it refers to the 318ti sport.

Wait, that can't be right since Dan got a '96.

They had sport packages I think in earlier models. I always liked the look of them, but one with a S52 motor would be fun.

But worst of all, he'll have to face the 914 once its back on the road....

At least Dave you are giving him plenty of time to prepare for the 914's arrival.
