Seats for MGB from a Porsche 914??????

Hey Mr. 914Dave. I should get a measurement on those seats. they have to be no more than 18" wide.
And they should have access for shoulder harnesses.

But right now, with my infirmities......
I will have to hold off for now.

Hi DCM. Yes, last Sunday was a good day. Even with my best lap of 44.1 that rat Pat still had be beat, in my own car, by a mile... Oh well, that just shows me the times are out there, I just have to find them.

About the seats, I suspect they are less than 18" wide. They are a fiberglass shell, with a built in headrest. I used one as the driver seat for my 914 last season, and the 5 pt belts would go around the head rest and still work O.K. There are some who use the seats for race cars/kit cars, as they are so light, and just chop off the head rest portion, and re-do the seat cover. I currently have a metal circle jerker seat for the drivers seat, but retain the stock passenger set. Next time we meet at a meet, stop by and have a sit, so you can see if they will fill the bill. I have one if fair to good condition I would let go, and could direct you to more if needed.
