Hello,
The shop I am working at just got a new tire mounting and balancing machine. Actually, it's the first ones we've gotten at the shop. I talked to the owner about setting up a deal for us auto-x'ers and road racers and he set a price of $50 per set of tires mounted and balanced. Most shops charge $80-120 for this service. If anyone is interested in this, feel free to conact Karl at 612-597-7772 or via the internet at karl_fritchie@hotmail.com.
As for experience in tire swaps, I've worked for two years changing semi and passenger tires for Northwestern Tire in St. Paul and Karl has also changed many a tire in his past.
Tell Karl I sent you so you can get the discount.
