See Pat Washburn's post under the St. Cloud Autocross thread.

I had sent an e-mail to Pat earlier with some questions about coming to an SCCA-Milwaukee event this year, because, like many, I'm looking to get some wider autox experiences. Pat was pretty encouraging, and one of his suggestions was to get a group to come down to an event together. Pat put the web address for the Milwaukee schedule in his post.

Here it is: http://www.scca-milwaukee.org/Solo/2003/03sched.htm

Is anyone interested in making such a trek for one of the dates? Probably driving down the day before. (Note: Pat will be here for the Evolution School, rather than the 5/12 event in Milwaukee.)

I don't have firm plans yet myself; but I am interested in giving Milwaukee a shot sometime. Anyone else?

Regarding the Milwaukee Autocross.

I am planning on going to at least one event there, I was thinking of driving there on Saturday staying 2 nites at a cheap motel and coming back on Monday so I wouldn't have to come back the night of the Autocross, however if there are multiple drivers going and someone wants to share driving the MINI there/back and of course at the Autocross then a one night stay would work. At any rate count me in on a caravan to Milwaukee.

My brother and I will probably be going back for the CenDiv in August. It is a 2 day event and is a ton of fun. If you are going to drive that far, it is nice to get in 2 days of racing. Let me know if anyone else will be going to this event. :p

The idea of getting two days of autoxing when you have to make a long trip certainly appeals to me. I'd definitely be interested making it to the CenDiv event.

Cool! The more the merrier. One note. The CenDiv represents the pinnacle event of the season there, and you are not obliged to do both days. You are free to do one day or both. LOads of fun!
