I have three cars that use the same wheel and can use the same size tire. One stock, one modified(big turbo) and one tranny change and delete bumpers. The last two cars I assume the rules would allow the same size tires to be used? How big a tire(per rules) can I put on the modified cars, 15 inch rims and how would that same size tire effect the stock car's class? Hope I have given you enough info. Cars are 740t Volvos and a 145 Volvo.
Thanks

Hi Trana!
If the 15" wheels are the same size as came on the car stock, then they are stock legal. If not, they would put you into STS (7.5" max width) or Street Prepared. No bumpers puts you into Prepared. A tranny change puts you into Street Modified or Prepared.
Are we going to see you at a few more events this year?

Bring those Swedish bricks out to play!!!
I have a brother in law thats goofy about his Volvo, if I knew there'd be one at an event, I might even get him to come to one.

The two modified cars can use whatever wheels and tires you can squeeze under them. The stock car's wheels would need to be the same size as stock and have an offset within 1/4" of stock if you want to keep it in a stock class, but you can use any DOT tire that you can squeeze onto your wheels. If you put bigger wheels on the stock car, it would go up to street prepared, where wheel and tire sizes are unlimited.

you can put any size tire up to 225 wide on the stock size wheel and still be in stock class if i understood that rule correctly or is it smaller?

Nope STS has a max tire width rule where as Stock does not, like alex said put as wide as tire as you want but the cavet is the it has to fit on the stock width wheel. So if you have say a 4.5 in wide tire you maybe will be able to fit a 225 on that but it's gonna be a squeeze.
