Well, the exhaust manifold on my MR2 is cracked, almost all the way around the #4 cylinder's runner. I'm searching as I type for a header to fit my car, but the prospects don't look good.
Has anyone ever had a cast iron exhaust manifold repaired? How well did it work? Did it crack again?
Thanks,
-Eric

The only way to repair it is brazing. I've brazed an MR2 manifold in the past, but managed to get a good stock manifold before I had to use the repaired one. I now have a header set-up, so if your looking for a good stock manifold I might be able to help you out.....

I wouldn't recommend trying to repair the stock manifold. You're better off getting one from a junkyard.

go here http://www.trdracing.com/mr2_85-89/ they carry the TRD header for your car. $300 and shipping. I would go with the header if the budget allows.

I'm really tempted by that TRD header, but that's %50 of what I paid for the car, so I think I'm gonna stick with a stock piece for now.
