WTB 14" VW alloy wheels

WTB 14" VW alloy wheels. 4x100 bolt pattern as used on the a1's and a2's. The "snowflakes" used on the early GTI's would be preferred, but I'm not that picky if the price is right.

When I sold the Syncros to Mike Vann, he got some extra 14-spoke 14 x 6 wheels.

The Audi 4whl drive wheels have a different offset on them than the VW's if I remember right. They may work but will be hard on the wheel bearings expecially if you are driving hard.

The standard wheels on the VW Quantum Syncro (and optional on the Quantum) are VW wheels. They are the same 14-spoke wheels used on the early GTI. It is possible that they were used on the Quantum before they were used on the GTI. Where do suppose I got some extra wheels? Off a GTI Bob Fogt located for me in a junkyard. I am here to tell you they all measured up the same. Only differences were some had different paint and different plastic center covers.

In any case, the 13" standard wheels from the Quantum will not fit over the brakes on the Quantum Syncro.

The Quantum Syncro used the engine and transaxle from the Audi 4000, not the wheels or suspension. The different suspension design may be the reason the Quantum Syncro does not push like the Audi.
