the forecast is for 92 and sunny.

If you are planning to attend this event, please be prepared and plan on bringing some essentials:

What to bring:
- hat
- sunscreen
- water (preferrably a cooler filled with ice water)
- light colored towels for keeping the sun off dark objects (seats, steering wheel)
- FM radio so you can listen to the announcements we will be broadcasting
- food, snacks or something to munch on during breaks

Did you say BREAKS??? Whoah! :flame:

In all seriousness, everybody should plan to bring food. There isn't anything particularly close by...

Will the normal PA system still be used in addition to the FM transmission? I don't have a radio in my car....

I'm really glad Steve M. put up his post on being prepared. I think his point should be repeated.

DCTC is a great place to autox, but there's virtually no shade and there's no food places close by.

Some people were complaining after MOWOG 4 about the lack of enough water provided by the club. I think it's great MAC tries to provide bottled water, but a standard part of anyone's autox preparation in the summer should be to get your own water jug and bring your own supply of water. Also, it's worth a few minutes to get a little food together to bring along also.

It'll be a more fun day -- and you'll get better times on the course, too. ;)

Super America has a deal on water right now. It's like $3 for 12 bottles so pick up a pack when you get gas next time and just leave the water in your trunk. I always find it useful to have water on board especially for autocross.

Neal are you going to be showering your car again?

Just checked FedEx tracking, and the FM transmitter is in St. Paul and should be delivered to my house tomorrow. We won't have any time for testing, but it looks like Radio MAC may happen for MOWOG 5.:dancin:

Don't forget that water spray bottle works great as a mister to cool your face and also to keep them tires from getting too hot and blistering in such heat.

So lets all keep cool 8) and keep heatstroke away don't need no ambulances navigating the course.

Well, that would be pretty disappointing. Without a few smart-alec remarks, the PA is a little dull.

If you have one, I think we'll consider it a public service tomorrow! =]
