automatic waiting list app?

Would MAC be interested in a web app that automatically (or mostly automatically) handles the waiting list? I see the forum is running php, so I assume our web host can handle mysql/php stuff, and that's a big chunk of what I do for work. Writing a waiting list app would likely be pretty durn easy.

The club is working it way through the issue of waiting lists. Working on extra software would be premature. Thanks for the offer.

Hold that thought. As Phil suggests, I'm not sure we want to invest a lot of time in the waiting list issue, as other procedural/operational changes will likely reduce the need to create & manage the lists. Rather than put a lot of time into developing something for the last 2-3 events of he season, I'd prefer to employ your talents on something we can use longer-term. I'm pretty confident we can find a project for you!:)

Regardless, I'd be happy to lend some coding help. I've thought a CMS for the front page would be a good idea, but I'm sure it'd be easier to install one like drupal than to custom design/build one. Good luck, and let me know if I can help!
