I was wondering if, for instance, if I was running in HST (Street tire index) and I switched to a car in DSP-t (Street tire index) the points accrued in both cars would count toward year end points. In other words, does all the Street tire index points add together regardless of the class within the Street tire index. Thanks.

The points should be combined, but I'm not sure if that's the way Dave's been keeping the points for Street Tire Index. Dave?

A quick trip to the Met Council points
http://www.met-council.org/2005_results/Met%20Council%202005%20Series.htm
shows that Dave has been doing it correctly by treating Street Tire Index as a single class

Yes, your points in Street Tire Index will accumulate as the season progresses even if you drive a different Street Tire Index car with a different PAX factor. This is no different than driving different cars at different events in any other single class.

This is true in both MOWOG and Met Council series.

That's right. I treat Street Tire Index as one class. So, no problem Nick if you want to run a DSPt car.
