If you are looking for some (a lot of) seat time this weekend and want to check out a nice little road course here is the event for you. It is perfect for us autoxers with low hp cars since it is not a course with a monster straight like BIR or Road America.

I was at MAM on Saturday, June 18th. 1st straight is 2200 ft and I reached 130 on it. Better have good brakes at the end of it. It was great since I got instruction all morning and got signed off to run with the group. You can read about here and see some pics on page 2.

Anyways, the average speed around the course was 60-70 mph and the turns are technical so that you learn how to run the line and pay if you don't.

push?

I would love to go, but I'm helping Chris move. I drove the MR2 the other day and the boost controller is working again. Now I need to get longer studs up front so I can fit the spacers my brother made so that we can run the Kosei's with camber up front.

Oh yeah, Chris told me you were looking for studs. I have a sit if you want it. I got them for my Camry there. 52mm in length :) They have a full kit for Toyotas, $60 (give or take) shipped to the US (the company is in the UK).

Wish I could go, but I will be at the SCCLAC auto-cross. How often are races run there that have open entry?

We're re-doing the exhaust and some other things. Actually, we were going to go down there earlier, but decided it just wouldn't work without a trailer. I just signed up for the August BIR school though.

By the way, I finally got lowspeed results, they are here (http://www.maloneyracing.com/events/bir_low.html).

Mmmm, camber. We CANNOT BELIEVE how different the car turns in with about a degree of additional camber. It scary.

I've been tearing down the 2.3 (http://www.maloneyracing.com/merkur/engout.html), and am hoping to get it to a machine shop soon.

You guys did great at BIR for the first tme up there. I hope the MR2 handles better with camber. Have to get 10 studs and try it out.

I saw a post about them on the MR2 board. I have not decided if i need the 52mm or if I will have my brother make a smaller spacer and use 4runner studs from Checker.

Planning on boring up a size and boiling. I've got a couple questions about your intake, I'll send you an email.
