Additional Instructions for MOWOG 3

Here are some important instructions from the Event Master for MOWOG 3, regarding how this event will be run.

8:00 AM - 9:00 AM Registration
8:00 AM - 9:30 AM Technical Inspection
9:30 AM – 9:45 AM Novice/Instructor course ride.
10:00 AM Drivers' Meeting
10:30 AM First timed runs
Note: Please try to bring lunch with you, to minimize traffic in/out of the site.




What to do when you arrive
Sign the waiver.

Go to registration.

Find a paddock space.


Get you car ready for Tech inspection, clean out car, numbers and class, then get to tech.


Park your car in the East or West Grid, depending on your car class.


Course walks. This is a very long course so please don’t waste any time and get as many walks in as you can. Course needs to be clear at 9:30 for the Novice/instructor ride along.

At 9:30 sharp we are doing a novice drive of the course. Speed is limited to 15 MPH!!!! If you’ve autocrossed less then 3 times or are a first timer at St. Cloud instructors will be lined up at the start line at 9:30. Hop in any car and pay attention to course layout and listen to the instructor.


Drivers meeting will have an emphasis on SAFETY!!!

Just a note- while the course outline looks to be one huge fast road course, there are some slaloms, chicago boxs, chicanes and such to try to keep the speeds in check. Lee also notes he was going to try to get some braking "markers" (cones) at important spots.

Bottom line- don't expect F1 speeds, but expect that speeds will be much faster than Midway. Don't drive beyond you or your car, and respect the venue, and we should all have a great time.
