Not generally. You are not supposed to have a welded-in cage in Stock and Street Prepared. See the rules online for details.

Do cages effect your classification???

A basic 4-point rollbar or 6-point cage won't affect your classing. However, anything more comprehensive most definitely can. Cages that penetrate the firewall will send you straight to Prepared.
