Hi,

I've got a buddy at work that want's to buy some chrome rims for his 96 VW Golf. He would like to procure them from a store, rather than over the internet. Know of any good places that stock/order wheels. The bling bling style, not the as light and wide as possible auto x wheels.

Thanks

Discount Tire isn't bad. They carry a fair assortment of wheels at the local stores, and can get almost anything in a few days from one of their warehouses.

Norm's Tire in Little Canada is really good, if he wants a place with a more local flavor. They stock more "bling" wheels for SUV's than cars, but can order quite a variety of wheels. And they're quite knowledgeable.

You could try BZ at 420 E. Lake Street in Minneapolis, the last time I was there they had a lot of wheels (and tons of video monitors, etc., if that's your thing :) )

How about our own wheel/tire guy, Dwight? He may not have ANY in stock, but if you know what you want I bet he could find it...
