Websters dictionary says; [ledar] n. one that leads; guiding head- lead'er . ship' n.
Unlike some of the people who serve as leaders in our political system, my belief is those who lead, really are servants. OK, so maybe these leaders know a bit more than those lead. That doesn't mean that the leaders are then in a position where they become arrogant elitists, or that only they know what is best for everyone else. But it is your chance to effect change.
My point? Are you willing to serve in any small way? The club needs you!
Leadership has it's down side. Burnout! I've seen it happen too many times, and spreading the 'load' really helps.
Please consider doing 'your part'
1. The annual party/awards could use some volunteers.
2. Board members needed.
3. Equipment manager/helpers.
4. Publishing of 'The Right Line'
5. What have I left out?
