here are the north league points after Sundays brutal day racing against the south league on their "home turf".
1. Dave Bahl 43
2. Randy Williams 40
3. John M 40
4. John Boos 39
5. Chris M 34
6. Neal 28
7. Alex Bahl 24
8. Steve M 21
9. Kyle 17
10.Korey 11
11.Katie 10

Lots of fun and lots of crashes and spin outs.
the cool thing is everyone is fast from both leagues and running in the 20-22 second range which is really great for cold track and tires racing.
Next event for the North league will be on a totally new track layout,so we all get to learn a new one!
The South guys will get a chance to come race on "our turf" in the coming months also.
I know all of you have a story about Sunday so pop them in here
Thanks Randy

Hour and a half straight racing with an awful hangover. Towards the end of the last race I was too tired to turn the wheel and I kept hitting the walls. Still managed to get into the 20s though, I think the teens are possible for a few of us this season down south.

Were Sunday's races not the first of the season? Last week's e-mail was the first notice I received. Is there still room for me in the Southern League, or has my spot been filled?

I had a great time anyway -

how in the world did big body Dave Bahl pull off a victory? Clysdales rejoice!!

he has his body weight down to 195lbs or less
so he's not so big .
He also started on the pole for both races, that helps.

Unfortunately, it didn't help me. I was in 3rd place after the first corner! In a situation like that, it shows the differences in weight/kart. As for the rest of the race, well, I'll keep practicing...

Well Dave and I went up and ran the "new layout"Blaine Track yesterday.
Whew ,it a workout.no real straight ,you're always turning some.
Lots of fun ,but it seems like it will cause alot of "spin-out" passes.
There just isn't much space anywhere for 2 Karts to run side by side.
The tracks new record is 29.909 seconds so far ,not set by Dave or I.
Just useful info.Dave and I have some suggestions to make it better, but we will have to wait.

Not too bad though!

So, who's the record holder? Bob Lee Jr. from the Triumph club? He held the record at the old Blaine configuration for a while.

Christian,

I'd be glad to fill in on Sunday. I signed up for the league originally, but didn't receive notice of the proceedings.

Thanks!

Alright, done deal. I already paid for the whole season, so you don't have to bring any $$.

Thanks, but I can pay for myself. I'll ask the Pro Kart folks to credit you for the time you missed.
