Fairmont in 2005?

Any info / rumors about whether the annual two-day event at the Fairmont airport will resume in 2005?

Basso Presto keeps trying, but so far its a no go. Were you at the Winona Event this year (Lacrosse Club)? It was fun and they are going to hold some more at the same location next year.

Yeah, the Winona event looked attractive to me; but I had a schedule conflict on that date this year. I'll keep monitoring the schedule for events there next season.

Does this mean that there are no events at the Fairmont airport anymore?

I remember an event from there 2 years ago... I didn't drive it, but it looked fun. ...and it was nice having an air-conditioned building to retreat to.

That place was great. Hopefully sometime in the future it will be available again. They only charged $150 a day to lease it too!! The reason events stopped at Fairmont is that the surface was redone and they were not impressed with its durability. They thought cars might be hard on it. Maybe it has "taken a set" now and could be available.
