OCTOBER 17 Solo 2 Cancelled at La Crosse, Wisc.

I have received a few calls from people wondering about an October 17th. Solo 2 Event at the La Crosse Speedway (this weekend). This event was cancelled back in June and moved to October 10 in Winona. For some reason, someone did not update this information on the MAC calendar?

We were not aware that anyone, other than our own website, was posting our Calendar of Events on a different site. We will try and keep tabs on this in the future, as we appreciate MAC posting this information.

In the future, please confirm the date of any event that we sponsor with our OWN calendar which can be found at: www.scclac.org

Sorry we missed the event date change. Typically, we hear about such changes through the Metropolitan Council of Sports Car Clubs. Unfortunately, LOL has been absent from those meetings, of late, so we missed the change.

To be safe, you can always send schedule changes to jkotek@madgenius.com or metcouncilrep@mnautox.com, so Jon or I can update the MAC & Met Council Calendars.

Thanks, Steve. I will log in that address. I was somewhat startled by the call this morning and thought I would get this on your Message Board ASAP to preclude anyone from coming down here to find an empty track!!

Rarely, do we ever change our schedule, but the Winona possibility came up and we were obligated to change the date. Again, I didn't know that our calendar had been posted elsewhere. We had made this change, I think, in June.

Thanks again, and we will be cognizant of the info you gave us and will keep you posted in the event of any changes in subsequent years.
