Wow, that was a *much* better show than Bahrain. A touch of weather, a splash of derring-doo, some brave strategy gone well, some gone awry, and Lady Luck laying a claw on the shoulder of more than one unfortunate soul.
Oh, and can we please get rid of Kamikaze Kobayashi before he actually kills someone ?
Stuart.

Haven't seen the race yet, but they are always better when there's a little weather thrown in.

Indeed, it was certainly more exciting the two weeks ago. The BBC announcers mentioned Kobayashi might have run over his own front wing after a failure. Tough first two weeks for Vettel though, if Red Bull can figure out its mechanical issues Vettel and Webber should be up front quite a bit.
EDIT: Apparently Kobayashi's front wing came off after a collision and got stuck under his front wheels.

Great show this time. Will there be any good racing in the dry?
I can't imagine Schumacher likes being an also ran. On the other hand he seems to have done wonders for Niko.
Kobayashi seems to be trying too hard or something. He's a safe bet to exit early, too bad he has to take others with him.

Just saw the race and all I have to say is Holy Passing Batman! Now all we have to do is pray for rain at every event and we'll be set for a good season!

Gave myself a day to let it digest... A world of difference in entertainment value compared to Bahrain. I think the weather definitely played a part in the excitement, but I gotta also give credit to the circuit. Albert Park, regardless of weather, usually produces a good show. I gotta say though, I'm pretty disappointed in Webber corn-holing Hamilton, but as they say; that's racing. I think Hamilton's on-radio berating of the decision to call him for tires was a bit classless, but I also think Speed's commentators were a bit harsh on him for it. Racing can be very emotional and I'm sorta glad to see a driver speak his mind rather than spew press-release nonsense. In the end though, it was impressive that Whitmarsh accepted full responsibility for the decision, it would've been easy to pass the buck but he didn't.
I'm not a huge Button fan, and I'm one of those naysayers that credited his crown last year with the car, but it was still nice to see him on point at the end of the day. Maybe I'm wrong about last year and he really is starting to bloom. Afterall, it took Massa a number of years to realize his full potential.
While I still think Hamilton got the shaft, it was definitely a race worth watching.
That was a good race. I was impressed with Hamilton. He seemed to have raw speed on everyone, but couldn't get by the Ferrari roadblock. He was lucky to survive Webber's punt and still finish 6th. Vettel was the man, but another mechanical problem screwed him. Button was the first to come in for slicks, and it paid off big-time. He made them last the whole race and never made a mistake.
