Hey all, got a question for those in the know... I am currently putting all of the mowog points into a spread sheet and was wonder how to calculate the points for the street tire class. Do we treat them like non street tires and just do percentages of the winners time, or pax them all... or what?

Thanks

As I recall, each class (such as A Stock Street Tire, or ASt) is now considered a separate class. No PAX factor is considered at each event, and event trophies are determined by bumping if each class does not contain 3 entrants. I believe (I expect to be corrected if I am wrong) that the only purpose PAX serves in official scoring is for PRO class at individual events. A listing of overall finish by PAX would be only for fun and not for any official trophies or points.

Under these circumstances, I believe that each driver accrues points for both MOWOG and Met Council series on the basis of his class with no bumping or indexing. So if you have a car in ASt, and nobody else shows up at MOWOG 2, you get 100 points, regardless if you qualify for a trophy at that event. Points for others in each class are figured according to the formula in the Met Council rule book.

Verstehst du?
