Will MOWOG 1 be too cold for victoracers? forecast is 55-60 with 30% chance of rain.:(

I think it depends on what else you have available. Our civic has these crappy OEM 186/65/14 all season 400 treadware tires. Unless there is snow, or like 2" of standing water on the entire course, they will never be as fast as the R-compounds.
Even in the rain, the r-compounds tend to be a lot faster than the street tires on our car.
If I had some Falkens for the street or something, then I might run those in the rain/cold.

Last years april 1st autox of the year was soo cold that the r-compounds couldn't get enough heat to really stick, but I can't remember if it was warmer or colder than this years prediction.

Last year's MOWOG I was in the low 40's with a big wind. We should be a good 20 degree's warmer than last year.
Wet, that's the question!!
