In reviewing online registrations for the first two MOWOG events, I've noticed some common class selection errors that have required correction. For future reference, here are some guidelines, related to registrations for the Street Tire class.

1. Under "Car Class", select the class appropriate to your particular car and level of modifications. This selection establishes the index factor your car will use. The Street Tire class is open to cars in Stock, Street Prepared, Prepared, & Modified classes, running on true street tires.

2. Under "Car Class Picklist (Indexed classes)", select "Street Tire Index (T)". This selection indicates your car will be classed in teh Street Tire class.

3. The Street Tire class IS NOT open to cars in STS, STX or SI. Cars running in these classes SHOULD NOT make a selection under "Car Class Picklist (Indexed classes)".

4. Just because you're driving on street tires, you don't have to register in the Street Tire class. In fact, a majority of Stock Class participants at MAC events are running on street tires.

5. You can log in to MyAutoEvents and change the car/class of your entry at any time before registration closes for an event (typically 2-3 days prior to the event). Just go to the Entry List for any event you are registered for and click on "View / Edit Entry" under your name.

Hope this helps!

i am slightly confused by this...So does that mean we are subdividing the classes....so even though i am in StreetMod/Street Tire, I am not in the same class as StreetMod, nor am I in StreetTire either?

If you have registered in Street Mod/Street Tire, you will be in the same Street Tire class as everyone else (there is ONLY ONE Street Tire class). However, all Street Tire registrants also need to specify their car's "regular" class. This "regular" class determines the PAX factor used to calculate your results, versus those of other Street Tire entrants. Make sense?

Note: You can also register your car in Street Mod, even if you are running street tires. In this case, you'll be competing with other Street Mod dirvers who may (or may not) be running on street tires.
