This is designed to give everybody a heads up on the changes we have made.
MAC's board of directors and people that were involved with the registration and timing last year brainstormed and worked very hard to come up with procedures that we feel will cut down the time it takes to get thru the paper work. I will run thru the procedures for both pre-registered and registering at the event.

1st step (both pre-registered and register day of event)

Stop at the entrance get out of car and sign the waiver/ get wrist band.

Pre registered --go park car, walk over to the Registration area (by the trailer)

Register day of event --will be given a blank registration sheet then go park car. Fill out the sheet. Walk over to the Registration area. (by the trailer) If you don't know what class your in there will be a table marked for class questions.

2nd Step

Pre-registered --will get into a line at the registration area marked with a sign marked pre-registered. If you don't have a number one will be assigned to you. Check in and if you need to pay, pay. You will be given your pre-printered sheet. If you have a class question go to the table marked class questions. Lastly sign up for a work assignment at the table marked Work assignments. Then go get your car ready for tech.

Register Day of event-- If you have a class question go to the table marked Class Questions. Then with the filled out regisration form get in the line marked for Registration. If you don't have a number one will be assigned to you. After the sheet is all filled out and you pay you will be given a tech slip. Go to the table marked marked Work assignment and sign up for a Job. Then go get your car ready for tech.

3rd Step

Tech --Drive up to Tech with your car ready. (We plan to do Tech with 3-4 techs going over your car to do it as fast and effecient as we can) If it's not ready we will not Tech it. If you pass Tech go park your car and walk the course.

If we can get everbody to Pre-register we can get thru the time consuming task of Run-Groups selection the night before to shorten up the process even more.

One last thing, if you don't buy the number that was assigned to you by the end of the event you loose it and at the next event it will be given to some one else. As Steve stated at another post waite till Mowog 1 and buy the number assigned to you ( see Phil Ethier for this)

thanks everybody that was involved in developing this.
If anybody wants to help out at an event please volunteer as the faster we can get thru the formalities the sooner we get to the fun part!!!

One additional note, regarding online registration. There is an option to register online, but pay at the event. This still guarantees you the cheaper advanced registration rate. A number of people have already registered for every event they plan to attend this Summer - not a bad way to ensure you don't forget to register!
