Can anyone tell me if the way that the school is set up is conducive to co-drives?

If there are spots that open up due to the change in venue, I would like to sign my wife up, but not if it will not work with a single car.

I am not really going to answer your main question but here we go, The school os allready a little heavy on students compared to what the Pat wanted and the school is supposed to be for people who have autocrossed for 2 years+.

Ok, so the relevant bit there is that the intended audience is people that have a couple of seasons in. Thanks for the info.

As for the other part, if it's too full, they should have made it a smaller class size. That was completely within their control when they set it up.

The ideal class size for this school is about 8 to 10. We cannot make the financial part work at these numbers, with site rental and insurance costs. By getting a couple more instructors, we think we can make it work at the current level, without losing the quality of the event. So "too full" is a relative term. I will adhere to the entry limit strictly.

This is not a "run the course a bazillion times to see if we can make you faster" type of school. There is a lot of down time, the day is broken up into sections, and we will most likely not even use a timing system. That isn't the point of this school. When talking about the strategies, mental preparation, and course planning, a pre-requisite is to have some seat time under your belt. Many of the concepts and ideas will be lost to someone who has not had any experience. That's why it's an 'intermediate' school. It's not to say you can't get anything out of it....you will, just that fall back experience will help reinforce what we are covering.

To answer your original question, it's not the best setup for co-drives, but could be made to work if necessary.
