I was bumped from EP to SM... Speak up if youre in SM :)

Hey Bill
If the numbers are low or competion isn't there for you in SM you can always play in SM2 as the rules state that any car outside of the rules in SM (min weight) gets bumped to SM2. SM2 will be a pretty big class this year. Also my Neon is stock and will most likely stay that way as my GT is way more fun to drive.

i'd worry about the other miata (Ed's) he'll be running sweet 13"ers!! At Midway, yeah i'd worry about that miata. :D . Plus Lee is gonna run in SM2 which is another bigger worry. Me, i wouldn't worry about me. I'll still be running on street tires (i placed my $$$ on a bike) and will be good fun if i still beat any of you guys :p.

I've been running 13ers for last 2 years. The fact I'm the 4dr guy in this scenario is what has me ******ed.
there is hope for SM though. I see a Focus has registered. Just need one more SM car!

i've always ran in SM... but i'm not actually sure if that is what my car should be in (infact now i'm SURE i shouldn't be in it...). i was never competitive in the class so nobody really worried about it. in fact, i think i should start a thread to figure out what i should race in....:flame:

Kit, I'm with you. I will be on street rubber too, but I am not backing down from anyone. So bring it on!!!
(Damn, I wish I had more time to wrench and get my car past SP prep level.)

heck steve,
go for it this year. there isn't anything about your car that would make it "illegal" for SM and the competition would make you work a little harder at the local events. chasing Bill in SM locally would make you a better STX driver else where.
bigger classes are better classes.

I second that. At our events it is just as much or more about who else is driving in your class then what they are driving.
