***UPDATE - Additional spots now available for both days!***
As most of you should be aware, MAC will be offering two SoloPro Comp Schools in '09 for advanced-level instruction. These schools will be held July 25 & 26 at Chippewa Valley Technical College, and will be run by former National champions (and top-flight instructors) Tim Aro and Jinx Jordan. The purpose of this thread is to identify how many drivers plan to attend one of the Comp Schools, so we can determine how many instructors to request. The cost will be $250 for a one day school. Here's a description of the curriculum:
In the Comp class you'll understand and learn how to maximize your cars potential. Advanced concepts, driving techniques, and car control skills will be emphasized throughout the day. Students will actually participate in at least 2 autocrosses on different courses during the day while receiving one-on-one personalized guidance the entire time. It's like having your own personal autocross coach instructing you all the way to the top! Beat the instructors times and you may be rewarded with a prize on the podium at the conclusion of the day.
Reinforces basic fundamentals
Multiple course configurations
Compete in two autocrosses - two different courses
Advanced driving techniques and strategies
Advanced psychological/mental concepts and strategies
There are no set pre-requisites for the Comp School. However, we recommend a minimum two years of local autocross experience, plus some Divisional/National level experience and/or completion of Evolution Phase 1 training to get the most value from this school.
