There're also some events around Madison through the Madison Sports Car Club (www.madisonsportscarclub.com). That club is part of the Midwest Council of Sports Car Clubs, which does wheel-to-wheel stuff as well . . .

I have no experience with this outfit, but it might make for a good weekend.

We had some Madison Club members at a couple of our events last year, some of their events are at tracks like Lacrosse, fun but the concrete walls put some people off...
Too many events, not enough time.

And don't forget the Austin Healey Club will have another Hillclimb this spring(60 cars max with only 20 "non classic" cars allowed), this is a great event with a different feel and lots of eye candy --- everything from full bore race cars to a Citroen SM took the hill last year and other classic car owners came just to watch with their cars as well.

Salah came/saw/conquered the Hill Climb last year (so what else is new)...

Just so you know it is up the hill at Afton Alps, some drop offs/BIG trees so it is a "fun" event run at 8/10ths, not full bore 10/10ths, this will be the third event in two years, we hope to do two a year and the first time someone goes off we lose the site immediately...

It was explained to us by Tom Hazen [ MHAC president]
that this is a different culture than autox. We broke for lunch, with sitting down, hot food, and good fellowship.
It was really enjoyable.
