There is an SCCA National Tour event in Sunny San Diego March 20-22. It is the perfect opportunity to get out of the gloomy Minnesota weather and get a jump start on the auto-x season!

Let's get a big group to go! (Plus, we need a car to co-drive!)

Who's going?
1. me
2. Matt

If I can fix this by then...it would be a definite "maybe"

Park in the wrong lot Dan...

I'd love to go but that would be a long drive in the 325is...

Um, Dan... "THERE'S YOUR PROBLEM!" hehe

I am considering looking for a co-drive down in SD but it's currently a long shot. Definitely won't be ready to bust out the ITR for the long drive. We'll see...

Nice!!
I was just checking airfare for that earlier today. Under $300 round-trip is looking pretty good.
Was initially thinking of hitting the Dixie Tour (have met lots of folks through Neal and Katie from that area)... but the San Diego NT is followed by the El Toro ProSolo the next weekend. 2 big events and a warm sunny vacation in between is tempting.
My plans really depend on what the Doctor says about my shoulder progress next week.

If I had a place to stay I might really consider it. I know there are a strong bimmerforums contingent down there, I'm sure I could find a ride, but I'm already doing a lot in the two weeks prior. It'd be fun, especially if some other MAC folks would be there, but it's expensive, too... even if I got the ticket on miles.

For those of you that have attended events like these... Do you think they'd accept my registration form if I don't include information on what car I'm driving? Or do I have to get that all straightened out before I send in the sheet?

Also, has anyone ever tried naming their own price for flights on priceline?

You can register at the SCCA website with any car, car number, etc.. and you can still go back and change it. I would assume some sort of information is required, so you can just put down what car you'd *like* to be driving and update it later.

Ooh ooh! I'd like to be driving an F430 Scuderia. ...or, Aston Martin V8 Vantage. ...or maybe a 57 Porsche Speedster. Nikki, feel free to enter any of those on the registration. Maybe it will come true.
