Bob Fogt has the corrected and current copy of teh Novice School flyer. It has additional information. I asked Bob to send this to Steve. I would like to see a link to the flyer on Myautoevents, as well as a link to it on our homepage.
Steve, please let me know if you need anything to get this done. Thanks!!

Jon put an announcement & links on the MAC home page. The Event Flyer is also available on MyAutoEvents. Everything should be good to go.

MyAutoEvents.com is back online. Apparently, their Internet Service Provider had some issues.

I just looked at the entry list for the 2004 novice school on www.myautoevents.com.The on-line registration total is at 30.
Paul or Pat,
Has anyone mailed a registration form to either of you?
How many are you letting in, 50 or 40?

The entry limit is 50, with an April 15th registration cutoff.

I'm signed up, and a friend of mine would like to come. MyAutoEvents shows that there was one cancellation, but still won't allow any new registrants. If there really is a spot available my friend would love to take that spot, and can send funds immediately. If its full - any chance of squeezing one more in? Pretty please?

OK, I added one (1) opening to the event. First one to register gets it! ;)

Some guy named John Marshall has registered himself twice! So there MAY be ANOTHER opening.

Yep, I noticed that too. I have one more person on a "waiting list" that I'm going to add tomorrow, under the assumption that we have a duplicate entry.
-Steve
Steve,
Yeah, that's a duplicate from the trouble my son's friend had registering on Saturday. Did you get the e-mail I sent you on Sunday regarding the problem?

I got your email. He also got charged for the class twice, but that problem has been corrected. I had MyAutoEvents credit the second registration, which was done with your son's account.
-Steve
Thanks Steve. We appreciate the help.

We don't need to decide until Saturday. If it looks like a serious thunderstorm/snow, the driving will probably be re-scheduled to the backup date, which is Saturday April 24th. If it's just a Spring shower, assume we'll be at Midway on the 18th.

Back in my day we didn't post pone nuthin for no rain! Least of all drivin' school! We ran in freezing rain and 40mph winds dagnabit! AND WE LIKED IT!
Learned more in the rain than we did in the dry too.

Who has spent more than one evolution school freezing his soggy wet self to the quick.
Next week he'll tell you about the time MAC ran out of pylons to mark the course and had to use barbed wire instead.
Sorry to put a damper on the school/track event but it's rain or shine as the flyer states. Chris is correct in that driving in the wet makes you a smoother driver.

Hey!
You stealin' my thunder?
Old codger,#$%^^&*()_)_+_()*(^&%$#$What about us geezer's?
OK, so if it's seriously wet, like a couple years back, we will cancel for a snow/slush covered lot. But just light rain, nah.

And what do the weather weenies really know anyway? Do they autoX? I think if you have good teeth and nice hair, you're 2/3 the way there to being a weather person...
I recall the novice driving school postponed for a slush covered lot. Alot of frozen, sad faces that day, but more was gained with a second date set. Rain? Let'em roll!!!

Neither rain nor,....well you get the idea. Rain or shine, we will drive. The only thing that could stop it is snow covered lot, but that doesn't sound likely. Bring them rain suits!
